PROGRAMS & SERVICES

Garland Lodge Ltd provides a full spectrum of daily services in our Care Home that help everyone live a life full of dignity, purpose, and respect. Whether one of our residents requires Medication Monitoring or they’d like to sign up for Nutritional and Dietary Counseling, we strive to provide many options so our community members feel well taken care of.
The health professional involved with everyone is relative to their needs, introducing an integrated care model of multidisciplinary working, allowing improved support of the service and care delivery. Goals will be devised for the individual to develop a reduced dependency on services, nevertheless, having access to consistent and effective ongoing clinical support. The goals set will be measured by our service specific, person centred, outcome measure tool.
The governance of the service is overseen by the Registered Manager to ensure efficient, quality, and safe delivery of care. The governance process allows audit and quality assurance of every aspect of the service, ensuring robust, and correct ways of working are maintained.
We strive to support everyone achieve their goals, desires and in some cases – dreams. We all love to go on holiday and there is no reason why the people that we support should not be allowed the same opportunity, all of us at Garland Lodge think this is important. We support people to go on holiday. The process is risk assessed and managed safely so that people can enjoy trips away to a location of their preference. As well as supporting people to live successfully in the community, we want people to be happy, we find joy in creating positive memories together.

Throughout the year, we provide our residents with Medication Monitoring to make sure there’s always something exciting to look forward to at Garland Lodge Ltd. It’s just one of the things that sets our Care Home apart from the rest. We’re passionate about providing opportunities for our residents to make new memories and friends while enjoying our services.

NUTRITIONAL AND DIETARY COUNSELING

There comes a point in everyone’s life when they may no longer be able to take care of themselves. Nature calls for the families of each individual to take care of them, just as they were cared for when they were young. Unfortunately, careers and other matters of modern life can often make this a difficult task. Garland Lodge Ltd provides the support that retirees and their families require, including Nutritional and Dietary Counseling services, which we are more than happy to offer.

MEDICATION MONITORING

The service is staffed 24/7 and is overseen by a specialist team who have received advanced training in PBS and understanding the needs of autistic people. Our licensed CQC provider, Garland Lodge Ltd can offer personal care support to individual residents, where this has been identified as an assessed need.

MEAL PREPARATION

Sometimes, when our community members arrive at Garland Lodge Ltd, most require some degree of health and wellbeing monitoring. Our Care Home provides meal preparation/planning services for everyone. By catering to the personal needs of each and everyone here, we hope to make Garland Lodge Ltd feel like home.

24/7 EMERGENCY CARE

When every day activities become too difficult to manage by ourselves, we often need our family and loved ones to chip in. Garland Lodge Ltd provides the support required to carry on with dignity, with the same love and care a family member would provide. This support includes 24/7 Emergency Care services.

CARE PACKAGES

At the heart of every care package is placing the individuals’ wishes, preferences and needs as central to their care and treatment. The individual’s decisions should be treated with respect and dignity. This principle underpins the ethos of the service, and where possible, every decision is inclusive of the individual. Adopting the person-centred approach is vital in health care. The approach achieves effective outcomes and satisfaction as such informing high-quality care.
Each person that is supported will receive a robust care package with careful planning to clearly determine how they can be supported in the community in their own home. There will be no maximum stay in the service, as each person progresses as their own pace, however, there will always be an emphasis on progression.
